This is blog launch day!
It’s a huge day for us as we take another step to serve our children
& families. Through timely
dissemination of information, easy availability to ministry schedule and access
to family resources we hope that our blog will be of tremendous help to you. I hope that you will subscribe to it, so that
you may be continually informed of all the happenings in the ministry like
important church and community events, changes in logistics, curriculum updates
and valuable resources that will be of assistance to you as you continue to build a strong
family.
Please notice the header at the top of the blog
homepage. It highlights a verse of
Scripture that is very important to us.
“Oh Lord, please open his eyes, that he may
see.” 2 Kings 6:17
This verse constitutes the turning point of an Old Testament
story that can carry a powerful application with regard to the eyes of our very
own children. Please read the story in
its entirety from 2 Kings 6:8-23 OR read the children’s Bible story, Horses and Chariots of Fire, I wrote

A main purpose of our team here at CovPres is to be used by God to overcome one of the most prevailing problems in children’s ministry
today. That problem is the blindness of
our children to the spiritual world. Our
children read about it, they hear about, and even talk about it. But do they truly see it? It is our desire that they gain eyes to see
what God has done for them through the birth, life, death, resurrection and
reign of King Jesus.
Jesus is real, we want our children to see!
